Kverneland UK unwrapped its all-new semi-mounted plough series, called the PN/RN 100s, at Cereals.

Available in seven, eight- and nine-furrow builds, its No28 bodies are protected by shearbolts on RN 100 models, and an auto-reset mechanism on PN 100 versions.

The latter uses Kverneland’s proven multi-leaf spring design that affords non-stop ploughing in seven-furrow configuration.

Filling a gap between the fully-mounted EO/LO seven-furrow and the flagship semi-mounted PW/RW from seven to 12 furrows, the new plough delivers the convenience of a small plough in a high-output package.

They have manual vari-width from 14-20in and, using a single-wheel format, the PN/RN 100 offers in-furrow and on-land capability – the latter with enough offset to suit wheeled and tracked tractors up to 3.4m in width.

“This new plough has been developed for customers with 200-400hp tractors on wheels or tracks, who frequently swap between ploughing and cultivating,” said Kverneland Group UK plough specialist, Adam Burt.

Prices start from £31,953 for the RN 100 shear bolt version, while the PN 100 auto-reset model is priced from £35,496.
