Top price at the English National show and sale of Texels at Worcester was 8800gns for a gimmer from D and J Chambers’ D and J Chambers’ Twelve Oaks flock from Newton Bromswold.

A Claybury Nimrod daughter, this show female sold to Scotland purchased by Grace and Hugh Reid, who run the Meadowvale flock at Grassmainston, Alloa and later sold the highest priced tup lamb at 5200gns.

Next at 4300gns was Connachan Rob Roy, a tup lamb from first time consignor Robert Cockburn, Connachan, Crieff.
