Noted Scottish Texel sheep breeder, John Forsyth, who owns the Glenside flock from Maybole, made his mark at the Welsh National show and sale at Welshpool, selling two of the top four highest priced lots including the sale leader at 4000gns.
Mr Forsyth sold six lambs to average £1613. Sale leader was Glenside Ripvanwinkle, a Strathbogie Python son purchased by FI Lewis, Cwmnant Eion, Carmarthenshire.
