Top price at the Northern Ireland Texel sale at Dungannon, last week, was 17,000gns paid for the ram lamb Blackstown Rambo, from Jim Wilson’s flock at Crumlin, Co Antrim. He is by the Brague Nixon son Millcomb Powerhouse, and sold to Cahir McAuley, for the Larkhill flock in Co Antrim.
Scottish breeders, Keith Jamieson, Annan and Jim Black, Lockerbie, bought the second highest priced lot at 9500gns. This was Richard Henderson’s Ballynahone Rambo, by the 5200gns Mullan Playboy.
