Making top money was one from Colin and Bruce Mair's Monyruy herd from Everton of Auchry, Aberdeenshire. Their August 2010-born Monyruy Trouble Princess, by Double Trouble Forbidden, is out of the 10,651kg Monyruy Boss Princess and sold having calved in the beginning of the month. She was knocked down for 2500gns to the judge of the pre-sale show, James Wilson, for his Northshields herd in Fife.
Selling for 2350gns from M Young and Son, Beuchan Farm, Keir, Thornhill, was Keirmains Samuelo Belinda 2. This February 2010-born daughter of Regancrest-Mr Samuelo is out of the third generation VG cow Keirmains Belinda 10 VG85, which averaged 10,662kg for her last six lactations, and goes back to Keirmains Belinda 6 VG85, which herself has given over 119,500kg to date and is in her 14th lactation.
