Despite a smaller entry, a quality turnout of cows and heifers forward for the Border and Lakeland Holstein Club Sale at Carlisle, was led by a 2000gns call for one of the youngest heifers entered, Stowbeck Roger Pansy, from Skirwith Hall Farms.

She was bred from a high producing family, with the first three dams all producing more than 11,000kg and sold to JB and J Hanley, Manor House Farm, Edderside, Maryport.
