Logie Durno tops Shrewsbury

A PAIR of Charollais females from the Ingram family's Logie Durno flock from Pitcaple, Inverurie, proved the star attraction at a breed sale at Shrewsbury, last week, selling for top two prices of 850gns and 800gns.

This pair of ET sisters are by Crogham Hanniball II and bred from a dam by Foulrice Eurostar. The two gimmers each sold carrying twins to Crogham Lambert to Welsh vet and pedigree Charolais cattle breeder, Esmor Evans, Mold and an undisclosed Northern Ireland breeder, respectively.

Logie Durno also topped the averages league, selling 11 in-lamb gimmers to average £524.
