New chairman for the Bleu du Maine Sheep Society

William Baillie of Hillhead of Covington has been elected as the new chairman of the Bleu du Maine Sheep Society.

A staunch supporter of Bleus for many years, William runs a flock alongside his successful Holstein dairy herd, with which he was a recent finalist in the Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers Gold Cup, on his 162ha unit near Biggar, Lanarkshire. Mr Baillie consistently receives some of the highest prices for his sheep at the Premier Sale.
