LEAD priced Hereford at 3200gns from Carolyn Fletcher, Barwise 1 McCoy
BARWISE 1 McCoy, a May 2015-born bull from Carolyn Fletcher, Appleby in West Morland, led last week's small but select sale of Hereford bulls at Carlisle, attracting the lead price of 3200gns.
The sale, which saw just six bulls average £2765, was topped by an AI son of the Danish bull, NBG 69T The Wonderer, out of a home-bred cow. McCoy stood third in his class at the pre-sale show and was knocked down to J and D Whalley, Orchard Cottage, Gleaston, Ulverston, Cumbria.
