NEW communications, administration and promotions officer for the North Country Cheviot Society is Corinna Cowin, who takes over from retiring Alison Brodie.

“Alison Brodie conducted sterling work for the society over the last 10 years and we are

grateful to Alison for her contribution. "Naturally, we look forward now to a new era with Corinna," said William Thomson, breed president.

He added that the North Country Cheviot has increased dramatically in popularity in recent

years creating an exciting challenge for this progressive growing society.

Corinna brings with her a wealth of experience in delivering results and is well versed with

the travelling required for the role having previously been on the “show circuit” for many years with her previous employers.

From Penrith in Cumbria; Corinna is an extremely enthusiastic and professional person. From a

farming background where she works with her husband and brother in-law on a small unit with

300 commercial sheep.
