Aberdeen Angus bulls were in short supply at the native breeds show and sale at Dungannon Farmers’ Mart, where three shared the top price of 3000gns

First to sell at this price was the male champion Kiltariff Denver R816, a June 2015 entry from by Kenneth Bready, and son Steven, Rathfriland, Co Down. Sired by the Rawburn Edge J983 son Tonley Pele M841, he sold to Patrick Hawthorne from Downpatrick.

The third placed, Priestland Ben R696 made the same money for Sam McCollum, Bushmills. He is by the Ankonian Elixir 100 son, Tonley Palacios K715, and was bought by David Cameron from Coleraine.

Also making 3000gns was the fourth prize Ballyvaston Euan S026, a January 2016 bull from CJ Strain, Downpatrick, by Rosemead Karona J957. The buyer was David Lyons from Armagh.
