A bull from Hamish Goldie's Dumfriesshire-based Goldies herd, lead a joint sale of pedigree Charolais and Blonde cattle at Carlisle, selling for the top price of 2500gns.
His bull, Goldies Localhero, a Charolais by Gretnahouse Heman, was knocked down to GC Howatson, Gillenbie, Corrie, Lockerbie.
An even smaller sale of Blondes peaked at 1500gns for Sandridge Lannie, a Sandridge Idunno son from RG King, St Albans, Hertfordshire, purchased by JJ Taylor, East Park, Thursby, Carlisle.
Averages: Three Charolais bulls, £2345.00.
