A quality entry of Blue Texels forward for the second show and sale at Dungannon, proved a huge hit, with entries selling in all directions from Eire to across the Irish Sea to mainland UK.

Prices peaked at 2500gns for the female champion and supreme overall from Adrian and Clive Richardson, Maguiresbridge. Their gimmer, Cleenagh Avon, was knocked down to the pre-sale judge, David Thornley, from Derbyshire and ID Colville.

The same home also received 1800gns for the second prize winner to the champion, Cleenagh Adorable, purchased by to Seamus McGuinness. She is a full twin sister to Cleenagh Angel eyes, which was unbeaten in the 2017 show ring.

The Richardson's Cleenagh flock also dominated the remaining sections, with the ewe lamb, Cleenagh Babycham, a full sister to the champion, making 2000ns to Perston Blue Texels, Yorkshire.

Ram lambs sold to 1700gns for the first prize Cleenagh Bruno, selling to William Bradley, Magherafelt, and David Pennell, Innishmore, Lisbellaw, bought the top shearling ram, Millend Applejack, at 1500gns, again from the Richardsons.
