DEAREST of three Salers bulls to sell at Stirling, when knocked down for 6000gns, was Rigel Kino, a polled bull from Gill and Malcolm Pye, who run 70 cows in the Rednock herd, near Port of Menteith, since moving to Scotland last year.
The 30-month-old is by the Rednock polled stock sire, Rigel Munro and out of the Crocodile Dundee-sired Rigel Ino. He heads to work at Farmton, Tough, Alford, for A Sharp and Sons.
The three Salers bulls averaged £4375 (+£2065).
