THERE’S a new president at the Hereford Cattle Society with Jonathan Moorhouse, of the Cato herd, stepping up to the top spot having sat on the council as the South-west representative for the past six years.
A past chairman of the South West Hereford Association, Mr Moorhouse has judged at many shows, including the society’s autumn show and sale in Hereford and at the Great Yorkshire Show. His greatest judging honour to date however, has been at the National Poll Show, held in Moreton-in-Marsh in 2013.
Taking on the role of vice-president is Northern Ireland breeder, Des Kelly, who runs the Mullin herd near Ballygawley, County Tyrone, along with his wife, Colette.v
