A 405kg Aberdeen-Angus cross from Goddens, led the heifer trade at 338.30p, whilst a 524kg Simmental cross realised £1840 for Tinnis.

Young Bulls (83) cashed in at 283.31p having sold 374.50p for a Charolais cross from Drumgrange and £1280 for a Simmental cross from Kirkton of Mailler.

Cattle from Rosehill Farms, proved popular among the 343 weaned cattle soared, which witnessed Charolais cross steers make £1330, whilst Limousin cross heifers peaked at £1240.

Calves sold for £660 on two occasions, both coming in the form of Limousin bulls from Messrs Carlyle, Bleaberry.

Limousins also led the heifers at £520 from Beaty, Stonewalls.
