Scots certainly made their mark at the Borderway monthly dairy day sale selling the majority of top prices.

Sale topper at £3200 came in the form of the Holstein bull, Annandale Canterbury, from the Armour family, Milton, Moffat.

Sired by Vogue Solarpower this August 2022 born bull is bred from Annandale BG Cameron. Messrs Fox, Longtown, Carlisle, Cumbria, were the final bidders.

Lesmahgow based farmers, the Bryson family, Dykehead, sold the top two priced heifers at £2650.

First to achieve that was Carnduff Targaryen Rosebud, she is giving 38kgs, and found a new home with Messrs Robinson, Lanercost, Brampton, Cumbria. A daughter of Fb Kenobi Targaryen she is out of Carnduff Mafia Rosebud 4 lp50 SP EX92-3E.

Willes Farms Ltd, Bideford, North Devon, purchased the second one in the form of, Carnduff Charming Lass. Giving 40kg she is sired by Sietskeshoeve K and L GN Charming and out of Carnduff Legacy Lass 5.

Another by the same sire, Carnduff Charming Girl sold for £2600 again to Messrs Robinson, Lanercost. Out of Carnduff Dalliance Girl 3 she sold giving 41kg.

The Fleming family from Hillhead, Kirkpatrick Fleming, sold their best heifer, Hillhead Episode Jill 2, for £2550.

Giving 40kg she is a daughter of Bomaz Episode and out of Hillhead Chief Jill 2 Ex90.

This was another purchase for Willes Farms Ltd, Bideford, North Devon.
