A SMALL show of 73 store cattle and weaned calves sold through Harrison and Hetherington, last week, where the 42 stores sold well and to a top of £1210 for a Charolais heifer from Messrs Houston, Gretna House, Mossknowe.
Bullocks sold to £1085 for a Charolais cross from J Fishwick and Son, Thornship, Penrith.
A pair of pure Limousin bulls from Andrew Graham, Kirkhouse Dairy, Dumfries, topped the weaned calves at £890.

C AND D Auction Marts sold 2844 store lambs and feeding ewes, last week, where the previous week’s extreme rates were easily maintained.
Lambs reached £75 for Beltex from Becton Hall Bar with ewes to £61 from Routin Lynn.
