Leading the bull trade was the Orkney entry, Lagas Joseph, a rising two-year-old roan bull from Michael Cursiter's Laga Farms, purchased by Dundarave Properties, Bushmills, Co Antrim, Northern Ireland. Reserve male champion at the pre-sale show, he is by Chapelton Adonis, and out of the Topper of Craigeassie daughter, Galla Camilla.

Balgay Farm, Inchture, Perth, sold the second top priced lot at 3800gns to D Leeson, Kirkby Wold, Malton, North Yorkshire. This was the second prize bull, Balgay Juitter Bug, brought out by manager, Michael Riddle and his wife Jackie. He is by Glenisla Zetor and out of Balgay Rothes Mari.

David and Rosemary Dickie, Knockenjig, Sanquar, topped the females with Knockenjig Margo, a six-year-old red and white cow by Cavans Northern Light, which made 3200gns. She is bred from the Fearn Wyvis daughter Glenisla Margo and sold due to Glengloy Geronimo, to J Adamson, Hillhead of Stevensburn, New Deer, Turriff, Aberdeenshire.

Next disclosed price amongst the females was 2900gns paid by Dumfriesshire producer, D Bewley, Kiloran, Ruthwell, for the reserve female, Castlemount Dice Heathermaid, a November 2014-born heifer from Northern Ireland breeder, Duncan McDowell.
