PRICES peaked at 5800gns at a Limousin society show and sale at Brecon Livestock Market, when a 19-month-old bull from CV Lewis, Buttington New Hall, Welshpool, sold to RW and J Edwards, Tyn Twll, Llangollen, Clwyd.
The bull, Garyvaughan Linky, an Emslies Integrity son, is out of the Plumtree Deus daughter, Garyvaughan Inky.
Just behind, on 5100gns, Ashledge Latvia from AG Kirton and Sons, Severn Lodge Farm, Kinlet, Bewdley, sold to T Jenkins and Son, Torycoed, Llantrisant, Mid Glamorgan. This June 2015-born bull is a son of the Irish sire, Killcastle Horace, and is out of the Goldies Osprey daughter Ashledge Tammy.
At 4300gns was Killerton Lava from PW and SM Greed, Columbjohn Farm, Rewe, Exeter. A son of the 7500gns Kaprico Donato, by Ampertaine Abracadabra and out of Killerton Etna, he headed home with TP and TI Rogers, Manor Farm, Monkland, Leominster, Hereford.
