Selling for that top price was Bridgewater Farm Hector, a 14-month-old by the 2014 and 2015 Balmoral breed champion, Dermotstown Delboy, from Cookstown breeder, Nigel Glasgow.
Bred out of the Anatrim Bodybuilder-sired Bridgewater Farm Phyliss, this second prize winner sold to Dermot Trainer, Kilkeel, Co Down.
His herd mate and paternal brother, Bridgewater Farm Gazza, sold to Peter Morris, Newtownstewart, for 3300gns. He is out of a Samark Superman daughter.
Females peaked at 2600gns for the female champion, Cleenagh Gaynor from Adrian Richardson, Maguiresbridge. Selling to Robert Stinson, Springfield, Enniskillen, this maiden Drumlone Anchor daughter is out of a Bridgemount Vixon-bred cow.
Matching that price was the third placed Knockreagh Gail, a rising two-year-old Popes Barclay daughter from Conrad Fegan, and father Val, from Rostrevor. Scanned in-calf to Kilbride Farm Comber, she sold to Thomas Stewart, Garvagh.
