A cracking trade for pedigree bulls and commercial beef breeding cattle at Aberdeen and Northern Marts' Thainstone centre, was topped by a Charolais from Neil and Stuart Barclay, which made 6500gns.
Their bull, Harestone Leam, the breed champion from Harestone, Insch, is by Inverlochy Ferdie and sold to MJ Forbes, Bogside, Drumblade.
Limousins peaked at 6200gns for the reserve breed winner from I and G Grant, Bank of Gallery, Montrose.
Commercial beef breeding cattle were a flyer of a trade and led by first time consignors, Craig Malone and Teen Millar, Pitcairn, Lochgelly, who produced the champion and reserve winners and top two prices at £4800 and £3200.
