FIRST-TIME exhibitiors, Craig Malone and Teen Millar, were well rewarded for their trip to Thainstone’s commerical beef breeding cattle show and sale, producing both the champion and reserve winners and two top prices.
The couple from Pitcairn, Cardenden, Lochgelly, led the line-up with a British Blue cross heifer with Limousin bull calf which sold for the top price of £4800 to Dunbeath Farms, Caithness.
Their reserve, a Limousin cross heifer with Limousin cross bull calf, realised £3200 to the judges, David and Charolotte Cooper, Govals.
