SEAWELL Kincaid from Peter and Shelagh Donger, Towcester, hit the top price of 6500gns at the Salers spring society sale at Welshpool.
Standing champion in the pre-sale show, this March, 2015-born son of Seawell Governor is out of the French imported cow, Ventouse. He was knocked down to Simon Hill from Newport, Pagnall.
The only female in the pedigree section, Kington Eve, from SL Simmons, Devon, sold with her calf at foot for 2700gns. Born in February, 2015, she is by Rigel Tribute Kington and out of Rigel Paloma Poll. She was bought by JS Abel, Cwmbelan, Powys.
