Pedigree Limousin cattle hit a lead disclosed price of 4000gns at the summer sale at Newark, where entries from AR Howarth's Copperhurst herd from Greater Manchester, secured most of the top prices.
Included in this list was the fifth calved cow, Copperhurst Geranium, a Carmorn Dauphin daughter out of Tophill Bluebell, by Limo Tanat daughter. She sold with her heifer calf at foot by Ampertaine Gigolo, to PJ Dale, Ripley.
Copperhurst Luther, a June 2015-born bull by Wilodge Fastrac, then made 3800gns to DW and CJ Towler, Clitheroe. He is out of Copperhurst Harriet, a Grahams Unbeatable daughter.
Another young bull, the November 2015-born Copperhurst Lancelot, by Gorrycam Hazzard, realised 3500gns to H Dawson and Son, Retford.
