A QUALITY offering was forward for Harrison and Hetherington’s Monthly Dairy Day sale, where prices peaked at £2350 and 43 animals sold at or above £1700.
The Denwood family’s Julianholme herd from Gosforth Seascale, topped the trade at £2350 with a Misty Spring Smoking daughter fresh into her second. She sold giving 42kg to Bradleys Farms, Preesall.
Julianholme also sold a heifer by Regancrest-PJ Tabber for £2050 to RK and C Rudd and Sons, Grassings Farm, Kirkbride, Wigton.
The same buyers bought the top priced heifer at £2150. This was a Mr Silvo daughter giving 32kg from Brian and and Valerie Davidson’s Errolston herd, Gretna.
