ROUND two of Stirling Bull Sales is just around the corner, featuring shows of Simmentals and Salers on Sunday, 18 February, with sales the following day including 31 Simmental females and 55 from the late Hector Macaskill's Woodhall Simmental herd and 183 bulls.
Judging the Salers breed will be Alisdair Davidson of Poldean, Wamphray, Moffat, while Inverness-shire breeder, Anne MacPherson, Blackford, Croy, will place the Simmentals.
Also sold on the Monday will be 44 Salers and 25 females, while the show of Charolais females and bulls will be judged in the exhibition hall by Arwel Owen, Tynewydd, Garthbeibio, Foel, Welshpool, in the afternoon.
To conclude the event, some 171 Charolais bulls and nine breed females will go under the hammer on Tuesday, February, 20.
