A GOOD show of 33 Young Farmers’ cattle were forward at the Angus Tayside overwintering competition held at Lawrie and Symington’s Forfar mart, where the champion and reserve tickets went to two members from Forfar JAC.

Scaling 580kg on the day, he is by a Wedderlie Aberdeen-Angus bull and out of a British Blue cross Limousin cow. Producing the best return on capital of £490, he made £1440 when purchased by Alex Reid, Mill of Haulkerton.
