Among the store cattle a top call of £2160 for a Charolais steer from Harry Vickers, Low Hedgeley, Powburn.

Heifers attained £1700 on two occasions, both Limousin crosses, these came from Messrs Thompson, Springwell Cottage, and Alan Ogle, Comb Hills, Slaley.
