HARRISON and Hetherington sold an increased entry of 287 young calves, where a large ringside of buyers ensured all calves were good to sell.

Strong black and whites were an excellent trade and noticeably dearer on the week while plainer calves were slightly easier.

The offering peaked at £490 for a British Blue bull calf from Messrs Graham, McMurdo Road, Annan.
