BEST quality in-lamb ewes were keenly bid for, with feeding ewes also meeting a keen demand at Aberdeen and Northern Marts, Thainstone. 
The 240 grit ewes sold to £147 for Mule gimmers from Little Muddie, Lumphart, Inverurie, while 36 ewe hoggs sold to £70 for Texels from Nicholson Park, Fordyce. 
Hoggs reached £75 for the best of the 208 island hoggs, Beltex ram hoggs from Overhouse, Harray, while the 881 store hoggs reached £66 for Suffolks from West Davoch, Tarland. 
Feeding sheep (1001) sold to £120 for a Texel from Tapiken, Tyrie.
