A CATALOGUED entry of 3070 in-lamb females met a total clearance at C and D Auction Marts, on Tuesday, where a top of £148 was paid for Texel gimmers scanned with twins from Eastmains Farming Co. 

Included were served dispersals, where the offering from Messrs Lawson, Winshield, peaked at £130 for one-crop Texel ewes scanned with twins; the entry from JW Shearing, The Hagg, reached £116 for Texel ewes and Mule gimmers; and a reduction from Lilburn Estates, North Middleton, sold to £78 for Blackface ewes scanned with twins to a Blackface tup.
