CALEDONIAN Marts held a sale of 32 store breeding and OTM cattle as well as 671 store hoggs and feeding ewes at Oban.
Limousins from Keppoch Farms, Roy Bridge, led the pence per kg section at 264p for heifers and 258p for bullocks, with bullocks also reaching £760 twice from Keppoch as well as A Wallace, House of Keil. Heifers also hit £740 twice, this time from House of Keil as well as M Poulton, Iochdar.
In calf cows sold to £750 twice from W McPhail, Ensay.
Among the sheep it was Suffolks from Torbhlaren and Upper Largie that topped the hoggs at £50, while feeding sheep reached £70 for Texel tups from Inion.
