A GOOD entry of cattle sold to a strong ringside of buyers to top at £1290 at Harrison and Hetherington on Tuesday. 

That price was paid for a 546kg British Blue heifer from DA Wilson, Belzies, with heifers also reaching 258.3p per kg for a pen of 10 Charolais weighing 333kg from Glendeag. 

Bullocks peaked at £1160 for a Limousin from Messrs Ewart and Son, Belridding, and 269.5p for a pen of Limousins from Messrs Porteous and Son, Penlaw.
