THERE was an increase in the number of sales of all terrain vehicles (ATVs) and side-by-side units recorded by the Agricultural Engineers’ Association ATV/quad group in 2016.
The figures indicate a 5.7% increase to total 11,773 units sold last year, with the machines covered being mainly sold into the agriculture sector and not leisure or sports units.
Stephen Morris, of Honda UK, said the group is pleased to record both categories grew in 2016 after some years of side-by-side units increasing at the expense of ATVs.
