Blackface gimmers peaked at £170 from Newmill of Inshewan, at Lawrie and Symington’s second sale of store and breeding sheep at Forfar, which had 2367 head forward.
The sale included a show of Blackface wedder lambs, and saw the second prize pen of 20 lambs from Rickarton Farms, top the trade at £59, while the main sale of store lambs reached £76 for Texels from Sidlaw.
