A TEXEL ram from The Green, Milton of Durris, led Lawrie and Symington’s multi-breed sale of rams at Forfar, last weekend, selling for the top price of £850.
The sale, which attracted an entry of 152 tups, saw the champion Texel, as selected by judge Charles Simpson, Mains of Creuchies, sell for the second top price of £800. It was consigned by Robert and Hazel McNee, Over Finlarg.
