At Caledonian Marts’ Christmas show and sale of prime lambs at Stirling, on Tuesday, judge Craig Tulloch picked out a trio of Beltex weighing 48kg from J Miller and Son, Drumharrow, as his champion and later snapped them up for £125 per head. Mr Craig, who is flanked in the picture by auctioneers Ally Logan (right) and Olly Shearman, also bought his reserve trio for £145. That was a pen of 51kg Texel lambs from WM Bell and Son, Craigend
