A GIMMER from Robbie Wilson's Milnbank flock at North Dorlaithers, Turriff, stood champion and topped the Highland Ladies sale of pedigree females at Dingwall and Highland Marts' Dingwall centre, last week. 
Selling for the top price of 2000gns to the pre-sale judges, Iain Green and daughter Jemma from Corskie, Garmouth, was a gimmer by the 70,000gns Glenside Willy Nilly, carrying a single to the £60,000 Strathbogie Yes Sir. 
Next in the trade stakes was the reserve Texel champion from RE and RF Scott, Drum Park, Holm, Orkney. Sired by Tamnamony Tuborg Gold and carrying a pair to Milnbank Apache, she made 1500gns to Graham Morrison, Inchbruich, Cornhill. 
In the Suffolk section, both the champion and reserve female from Jimmy Douglas, Cairness, Fraserburgh, sold for 500gns apiece to Calum Fraser, Torgorm, Beauly. Taking the top title was a Thurston Fergie sired ewe, carrying twins to Cloontagh Chieftain, while the reserve was another gimmer by Whitestone Firestar also carrying twins to Cloontagh Chieftain.
