Some 1032 prime sheep were forward for Harrison and Hetherington’s Christmas show at Wooler where the judge, D Nicholson of Nicholson’s Butchers, Whitely Bay, found his champions in a pen of five Beltex lambs from WK McGowan, Craiglea.

The lambs were sold to JT Dunn, West Farm, Ponteland for £250 with the proceeds being donated to Marie Curie.
