Beltex lambs from A MacTaggart and family, Station Yard, took the championship at Wallets Marts' Christmas Show at Castle Douglas.

Judged by Murray Hardy from Vivers Scotlamb, the lambs went on to make £230 per head, 489.4p per kg to local butcher J Craig, Ballard Butchers, Castle Douglas with the proceeds kindly being donated to Kidney Kids Scotland.
