Clive Richardson's major reduction of several sheep breeds from the Cleenagh flock, saw prices peak at 4000gns for a Badger Face Texel gimmer.

The Northern Ireland-based flock which sold through Ballymena Auction Mart, with the sale conducted by Harrison and Hetherington, was led by Cleenagh Dribbler, a daughter of Cleenagh Makavelli, bred from Cleenagh Big Bird. She sold in lamb to Brougher Cruiser to Messrs Jessop, Colerton, Leicestershire.

Cleenagh Eye Catcher another of the same breed made 3500gns selling to Messrs Cooke, Crossenny, Monmouthshire. This ewe lamb is by Cleenagh Makavelli and bred from an imported ewe.

Blue Texels peaked at 3800gns for Cleenagh Ewe Darling, a daughter of Whatmore Chizel, bred from the imported dam Cleenagh Y20. She was knocked down to Messrs Jones, Gwynfe, Llangadog.

Orkney breeders, Messrs Girvan, Tankerness, purchased the top priced Dutch Spotted ewe at 2300gns. This 2020-born female, Kilroot Dawn, bred by WE Adamson and Son, is a daughter of a Kilroot Champion C11 and bred from the imported ewe, Chocolate Chip. She sold scanned for triplets to Diamond Gustavo.
