ABSOLUTE Solar and Wind will be unveiling an exclusive new product at this year’s Royal Highland Show.

The long-established business is aiming to build on its good reputation with farming customers with the launch of a new mini Building Energy Management System, which claims to save users up to 25% on their fuel bills via internet-based control of their energy inputs.

Absolute's sales and marketing director Graham Provest said: "This will be our biggest-ever presence at the Royal Highland Show and we’re keen to let visitors see what we can offer to help them run their operations more efficiently and profitably.

“The mini BEMS fits neatly into our growing portfolio of technologies designed to provide our customers with the best possible solution for their location and their business.”

The team from Absolute will be on Stand 4,11th Avenue to show the company’s range of renewable energy technologies, including CHP, biomass, wind turbines and solar PV.

In addition, visitors will be able to talk to Absolute's partners from Glenskinno Biofuels. The team behind the successful family estate near Montrose will be on hand to share their experience of establishing a biofuels business.

Glenskinno Farm has a 1MW Fröling Boiler system and 100kw Northern Power wind turbine, both installed by Absolute. Initially launched in 2014, the installations have enabled the family to grow their business and become more sustainable by reducing costs and generating significant new income.
