A NEW horse has been bought by the Kinfauns Riding for the Disabled group.
Rowan was bought through an application to the Woodenspoon Horse charity, which is part of a wider charitable organisation.
The mare is a 16.2hh Irish cross, nine-year-old piebald and according to Gillie Drapper, the publicity officer for the West and Central Scotland Region, ‘it’s a lovely big, kind horse which does good work with our adult riders. She has never put a foot wrong since joining us and looks after whoever is on her back, she is a huge favourite!’
The group intend taking her to some shows as she is from show stock and really does have the ‘X-factor’.
