Shine up your entries

As the show season gets underway, making your horse or pony look its best in the show ring is a priority.

Now, HorseHage has introduced its new Mollichaff ShowShine – a high-oil chaff for that all-important show shine.

The a cherry-flavoured, highly palatable feed is made from oat straw that has been chopped and dust extracted, and it is naturally high in fibre.

To give extra bloom, it contains a unique coating which combines high levels of soya oil with low sugar molasses. Limestone is also added to provide additional calcium for healthy growth and strong bones.

It can also be mixed with concentrates to prolong feeding time and help maintain a healthy digestive system by stimulating the production of saliva. It can also be used in place of hard feed if fed alongside an all-purpose vitamin and mineral supplement or feed balancer.

With a blend of fibres to support digestive health and beneficial hindgut microbes, it is fully balanced with vitamins, Zinpro minerals and antioxidants. Omega 3 fatty acids are provided with the inclusion of linseed, while XP yeast metabolites support and promote beneficial bacteria and enhanced fibre digestion.

And, to make it a tasty treat, it has added fenugreek.

Kit organiser

Does your horse grooming kit have a habit of not being where you last put them – then the answer is the Somèh grooming bag, which is now available in the UK.

The design for this range of grooming and bandage bags are the result of consultation with horse owners and riders to understand their needs and requirements, both on a day-to-day basis and when travelling to competitions.

The bags are made in a dirt and water repellent material with rubber ‘feet’ and come with an ergonomically shaped shoulder strap.

Internally, the bag has 12 adjustable compartments which allow you to configure the interior to your own needs. There are also inner and outer pockets for storing paperwork etc.

The bandage bag is made along the same principles, with eight adjustable inner compartments. Its front cover is transparent to allow you a clear view to the contents of each bag.

Somèh is available in the UK through HiForm Equine UK – www.someh.co.uk
