From a strong line-up of Clydesdales, it was Kilmaclasser Bonnie Lily from Charlotte Young that caught the eye of Allan Craig, from Coylton. This three-year-old filly by Cloondaff Setanta was bought from the Tanners in Ireland last year.

Clydesdale (Judge: A Craig, Coylton). Champion – Miss C Young, Hall Farm, Ayr, with Kilmaclasser Bonnie Lily, a three-year-old bought at the Highland, last year, from Jeffrey Tanner, Ireland. Senior champion at the Kilmarnock Foal Show last year and Clydesdale champion at a heavy horse show in Cheshire, she is by Cloondaff Setanta and out of Carnaff Bonnie Marie. Reserve – G and J Tait with the yearling colt, Bandirran Elvis, bought at the stallion show from breeder, Ron Brewster. Bred out of Redcastle Helena and sired by Redcastle Brelee Majestic, he picked up a couple red tickets at foals shows last year and has rarely been out of the top three.
