Willie Drummond from Broadyards, Craigie, again triumphed to take the red, white and blue ticket amongst the Clydesdales with his two-year-old filly, Broadyards My Fair Lady.

By Carnaff Ambassador, out out of Broadyards Morning Mist, she’s already tasted success this year, taking the championship at Kilmaurs. Reserve – A and E Campbell, Netherwood, Kilmacolm, with the mare Pacemuir Poppy. Brood mare, ridden Clydesdale – A and E Campbell. Yeld mare or gelding – Captain J Anderson, West Glen Farm, Kilmacolm. Two-year-old filly or colt – W Drummond.
