CARLUKE handler, Keith Dalgleish, and Irvine jockey, Danny Tudhope, have both been in unbeatable form this month.

Dalgleish saddled Scurr Mist to a comfortable win in the one-mile handicap at Carlisle on August 11 for new owners, Richard and Katherine Gilbert, while Tudhope rode Jilanar to head the seven-furlong maiden stakes.

Tudhope has been in great form, and was back in the winner's enclosure at Ripon four days later when riding All About Time to victory in the fillies handicap. A week later at Ripon, Tudhope secured a further success, when he rode the favourite, Chancery, to win the 1m 2f handicap.

Keith Dalgleish enjoyed a double at Carlisle, on August 19, when Chances Are headed the first division of the one-mile handicap, and stablemate Argaki won division two.

On the all-weather at Wolverhampton, the master of Belstane Stables continued his winning ways when Scurr Mist recorded a second success within a fortnight, staying on well to land the concluding one-mile handicap.

The Carluke handler was quickly back in the winner's enclosure, when Sound Advice landed the Class 2 feature 7½-mile handicap at Chester on August 22. The yard currently boasts a 15% strike rate on the flat.

Glasgow trainer Jim Goldie saddled 16-1 chance Ronald Gee to win the 1m 4f handicap at Thirsk on August 17.

The following afternoon, Iain Jardine, whose move from his Hawick base to Len Lungo's yard at Carrutherstown is imminent, saddled La Bacouetteuse to land the concluding stayers handicap at 6-1. The victory marked the 10-year-old's ninth career success.

Galston handler Mike Smith saddled A Lovable Rogue to win the six-furlong handicap at Hamilton on August 21, while Linda Perratt also enjoyed success at the track when Schmooze was the 8-1 victor of the 1m 4f handicap.

Fife trainer Lucy Normile saw Strobe win at 20-1 in the 2½-mile handicap at Bangor the following afternoon.

The following afternoon, at Perth, Lucinda Russell sent Maraweh from het Milnathort stable to win the three-mile handicap hurdle race for the Tay Valley Chasers Racing Club.

Jim Goldie was also successful at the fixture, saddling Los Nadis to head the 2½-mile handicap hurdle race.

Hawick jockey Craig Nichol rode Carinena to win the concluding bumper. Under a different code, Danny Tudhope rode Mondiasliste to win the opening race at York.
