THE Shearwater young dressage horse qualifiers are changing date to June.
Cecilia Gladwyn, the British Dressage regional development officer (Scotland), explained: "It has proven impossible to get the required trainers to come to Rowallan on March 30/31 to judge the various Shearwater young horse qualifiers. All of the trainers listed under Section 12 of the judges and officials panel 2013 were asked (51 in total) and not one was available on this date.
"A trainer has been booked for the Hickstead qualifiers on June 22 and with BD's approval it was agreed that all of the young horse qualifiers would be moved to this date at Rowallan.
"It is appreciated that this will not be ideal for everyone but it was a case of finding an alternative date within the required qualifying period or lose the classes," added Cecilia.
The schedule containing all of the young horse classes will be in the BD magazine and will also be on the BD web site.
