British Dressage Scotland are holding a Horses Inside Out demonstration at Fountain Equestrian, Aberdeen on May 12, however they are looking for horses to be used for the demonstration.

"I have unfortunately lost my guinea pigs for the Horses Inside out and am now looking for two guinea pigs, one preferably a grey horse," explained Cecilia Gladwyn, the British Dressage Regional Development Officer (Scotland).

"One horse will be ridden and the other has to be lunged (grey preferably to be lunged). You would require to be at Fountain with your horse for 11am ready for the rehearsal at 11.30am. The horses will be painted at 1.30 pm. A stable will be provided. The evening event will commence at 7pm.

"The lunge horse will require to stand during first part and lunge during second half. You will require to take your own lunge equipment (no side reins or similar)

Horse must be able to walk, trot and canter calmly and sensibly on the lunge and must be able to back up.

"Ridden horse must be able to demonstrate 10 steps of rein back with head lowered. Both horses would require to be working at least to medium/advanced medium level at home: be able to show a good shoulder in, travers, half pass and be working towards canter pirouette.

"If you think that you and your horse would be suitable guinea pigs, please send short CV by return to me and we can then select the horses that we think would be best suited to the job!"
